What Equipment is Available for the Mini Countryman?

If you have always wanted to own a Mini because the unique and iconic style of the cars has always appealed to you, but you were put off by concerns about the practicality of actually owning and driving a tiny little car with so little space inside, then you may well be attracted to the new Countryman model that the firm has produced. It is the largest ever mini, and the first Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) ever made by the famous British brand.

As with any car purchase dealers in the United Kingdom are able to offer a wide range of different options for people who are interested in making a purchase. When you talk to dealers about the Mini Countryman the main choice that they will offer you is between the six different variants of the car that are available in the UK. These are called One, Cooper, Cooper S, all of which are fitted with petrol engines, and the diesel version of each of these which are called One D, Cooper D and Cooper SD. In addition to this you will also be offer a choice of 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic transmission. A new option specific to the countryman also allows you to choose between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. Visit Car Site for more info.

The specific list of equipment depends on which model you choose. The Countryman Cooper, for example, offers a range of standard equipment which includes ABS anti-lock brakes, Electronic Stability Program, Front Seat Belt Pre-Tensioners, Driver and passenger airbags, alarm, Immobiliser, central locking, rear parking sensors, power steering, electric windows and mirrors, alloy wheels and an audio system with radio and CD player.
